Kaley Cuoco, 29, has officially filed for divorce from Ryan Sweeting, 29, but it looks like the drama is actually just getting started. With Big Bang Theory star Kaley’s worth at a hefty $53 million, it’s not shocking that Ryan wants a piece of the pie– despite the fact that the two signed a prenuptial agreement. However, Ryan has a strategy for angling his way towards Kaley’s fortune: spousal support! “They have a prenup but he’ll likely try to get spousal support,” a source told InTouch of the proceedings so far. Kaley, though, is committed to protecting her dollars. “She doesn’t want to give Ryan a thing, not even their house,” the source added.
Kaley Cuoco, 29, has made their relationship seem perfect on the surface, but behind closed doors, her now-ex, Ryan Sweeting, 28, has reportedly been battling a bad addiction to pain killers and alcohol. In their 21 months of marriage, the tennis player has allegedly been unable to kick the habit, and that’s what led his wife to file for divorce, according to a new report.
“Ryan was home all the time,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He was dealing with an injury and would be kind of a party pooper and would really want people to feel bad for him. Kaley’s life on the other hand, is going pretty well right now and she is a very fun loving person. They had a lot of good times together, but the change in his demeanor following his injury made him different from the person she fell in love with. She decided that it would be better to move on because things weren’t helping to change his attitude.é
Kaley Cuoco has officially filed for divorce. The Big Bang Theory star – who has since removed her wedding ring – cited irreconcilable differences in court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Monday.
According to the filing, a prenuptial agreement was signed by the pair in November 2013, one month before their New Year’s Eve wedding.
Cuoco, 29, and Sweeting, 28, “mutually decided” to split after 21 months of marriage, her rep told PEOPLE exclusively on Friday.
The court documents also revealed that the actress and her tennis pro were separated as of Sept. 3.
Cuoco gave no signs of marital issues when she gushed about her estranged husband and his relationship with her ex and current co-star Johnny Galecki on Watch What Happens Live! on Sept. 20.
However, the couple had been hit with rumors of relationship trouble since April.
“The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together, the tension was noticeable,” a source recently explained to PEOPLE. “You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. They both seemed miserable.”

The 29-year-old Big Bang Theory actress and her tennis player husband have been married for just 21 months, since December 2013, and got engaged after only three months of dating.
“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter,” Kaley‘s rep said.
The couple were last seen at an event together on September 10th but since then Kaley has removed all photos involving Ryan from her social media accounts and he has cleared his Instagram and disabled his Facebook page.
